You can find out more about this breed at the Australian Labradoodles the Association of America website.

        Book recommendations:
Some things to have on hand when your puppy comes home:
1. premium puppy food (AAFCO appproved) and dog bowls for food and water. Dog bowls are less likely to be overturned than kitchen bowls. I like to put them on a rubber boot tray to catch spills.
2. some way to confine your puppy safely, like a dog crate, when not directly supervised.
3. chew toys (Kong is my personal favorite because it won't break down easily and get ingested).
4. high value treats for training. Personally, I feed my young puppies by hand and insist on various compliances before each reward.
5. collar, leash. I like a harness for walks so there is less pressure on the puppy's neck, but the puppy won't be ready for extensive exercise at first.
6. metal comb for keeping hair from matting.
7. either pet nail scissors, or better, a nail grinder.
8. doggie toothpaste, usually chicken flavored enzymatic toothpaste, and a dedicated toothbrush.

How much are puppies?
